Flax offers a selection of interactive, hands-on workshops where you get to explore AI up close. Our workshops are open to students in the final years of secondary education, as well as companies and non-profits.

All workshops are designed for audiences aged 16 and up. The workshops exclusively cater to students from secondary (final two years) and higher education as well as companies and organizations.
All workshops, except for “Train your own neural network”, are beginner-friendly. However, basic computer skills are required for all sessions, including managing files and folders, downloading and extracting .zip files, etc.
The neural network workshop is more advanced. A solid understanding of mathematics is required, and prior programming experience is strongly recommended.
All workshops require a laptop with network connectivity & administrator rights.
The how to train a neural network & deep learning in action workshops require each participant to have an active Google account.
All workshops are given in Dutch.
All workshops have a standard duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Workshops are held on-site at University of Applied Sciences VIVES Kortrijk.
All workshops have a maximum capacity of 24 participants. Prices for a workshop start at €200.
